A WEST LINTON man has been accused of driving a car while almost SIX times the legal alcohol limit.
Forty five year old Adrian Gaisey of Alice Hamilton Way, appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court where he pleaded not guilty to driving with a breath/alcohol count of 129 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22.
The offence is said to have happened in various streets in West Linton on Friday.
Gaisey pleaded not guilty to the charge and a trial date has been set for February 11 with an intermediate hearing on January 27.
He was released on bail with the special condition not to drive any vehicle until the outcome of the trial.
