AN INNERLEITHEN man faces five charges relating to firearms offences.
Nicholas Silk, 39, denies two charges of having excessive ammunition for the firearms certificate he holds at his Tweed View home on December last year.
He also pleaded not guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to another two charges of leaving guns in an insecure place and having an air weapon without a certificate.
A trial date has been set for Selkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
