A WAITER at the country's leading health spa has been tipped for the top after being crowned 'employee of the year'.
Ryan McKenzie beat off stiff competition to be named as Stobo Castle's top worker.
Since joining the team at the rural retreat, Ryan has quickly been promoted to Senior Waiter.
And he is a firm favourite with clients.
Stobo’s managing director Elliott Winyard made the announcement.
He said: “We pride ourselves on the quality of service provided by all our employees however Ryan frequently goes above and beyond the call of duty so he thoroughly deserves this recognition.
"Not a week goes past without Ryan’s name being mentioned by our guests for his friendly manner and positive attitude.”
Stobo Castle i the only business in the Scottish hotel sector to achieve Investors in People Platinum accreditation, which recognises the role its employees play in its success.
