28-year-old charged with BGH disturbance is banned from Scotland
A 28-year-old man has been banned from entering Scotland unless on court business.
Scott Gibson of Grove Gardens, Berwick-upon-Tweed, appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday and denied being involved in a disturbance at Borders General Hospital the previous day - just hours after being released on bail for other alleged offences.
A trial has been fixed for April 13 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing at Selkirk Sheriff Court on April 6.
Sheriff Peter Paterson warned Gibson of the consequences of breaching the special condition of the bail order.
