SELF-EMPLOYED people in the Borders have started receiving money from the council in the form of coronavirus support.
The Newly Self-Employed Hardship Fund was launched on May 1.
Since then, 46 people have been approved for a one-off payment of £2,000, according to Scottish Borders Council.
The money has been made available by the Scottish Government, with people eligible to apply if they set up in business on or after April 6, 2019.
