ONE new coronavirus death has been reported in the Borders.
The figure was revealed in the latest National Records of Scotland (NRS) statistics published today (Wednesday).
The death was recorded between November 16 and November 23.
A total of 84 people in the region have now had COVID-19 mentioned on their death certificates since the pandemic began.
The total number of registered deaths in Scotland linked to the virus since March is 5,380.
