THE Borders has recorded five new cases of coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
The Scottish Government released the updated statistics at 2pm today (November 27).
In the Borders, there have now been 973 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
There are 10 people currently in hospital with recently confirmed cases of the virus, two fewer than yesterday.
In Scotland, there have been 93,155 positive cases since March.
