A BORDERS woman has been fined £100 for assaulting a police officer.
Macadie Hibonne, 20, of Hawick, appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
After being told Hibonne had been of good behaviour during a period of deferred sentence, Sheriff Peter Paterson opted for a fine with a £10 victim surcharge.
