BORDERS students are being invited to attend a pop-up clinic for coronavirus vaccinations later this week.

The facility will run outside Borders College in Galashiels on Thursday (September 16) and Friday, according to the region's health board.

NHS Borders has called on students at the college and Heriot-Watt University's textiles and design school to attend, as well as the local community.

The clinic is for anyone aged 16 and over who has not had a first jab of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Those who had their first dose more than eight weeks ago can also attend – even if their initial jag was in their home town before coming to college or university.

The facility will be open between 10am-4pm, according to NHS Borders.
