Two further yellow warnings have been issued by the Met Office today.
The first yellow warning covers ice which is in place from 6pm Friday 18 February until 9am Saturday 19 February.
Additionally, a yellow warning for wind runs from 12pm Sunday 20 February to 12pm Monday 21 February.
These both cover the majority of the Scottish Borders, although some eastern areas are not covered.
Whilst this is normal winter weather, Scottish Borders Council are asking residents are asked to be prepared for the conditions as strong winds at the same time may lead to very poor visibility, blizzard conditions and drifting of lying snow.
Further updates will be provided via the SBC SB Alert system and everyone is urged to sign up on the council’s website.
For more information visit the Met Office website while the latest national roads and travel information can be found on the Traffic Scotland website.
