POLICE in the Scottish Borders are appealing for information following the theft of two bikes from Innerleithen.

The E-bikes were stolen from a secure garage in Princess Street sometime between 5.30pm on Monday June 20 and 1pm on Sunday June 26 2022.

One bike is described as a metallic blue Vitus VRS E Sommet 2021, large frame, 29 inch front wheel, 27.5 inch rear wheel. A Shimano battery is built into the frame with V I T U S decals along the frame, black handlebars, a black seat, 1 x 12 gears and Maxxis tyres.

The other bike is described as a tan coloured Focus Jarifa 2 6.7 Seven 2021, extra small frame, 27.5 inch front and back wheels. A Bosch battery is built into the frame. FOCUS decals along the frame, black handlebars and a black seat.
