MATCHES involving Borders football clubs due to take place at the weekend have been postponed.
The decision has been taken following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
A spokesperson for the Lowland League said South Region Challenge Cup matches would not take place.
That includes games featuring Gala Fairydean Rovers, Vale of Leithen and Peebles Rovers.
A spokesperson for the East of Scotland leagues added: "All matches involving East of Scotland League clubs scheduled for the forthcoming weekend have been postponed as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II."
