A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal road crash on the A72 at Biggar which took place nine months ago.
NHS worker Beth Damer, 20, was a passenger in a black BMW M135 car which was the only vehicle involved in the incident around 4.30pm on Saturday March 12 2022.
Police Scotland confirmed the arrest earlier today and said that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The man, who has not been named is expected to appear in court at an unspecified later date.
