PUREGYM, the UK’s largest gym operator will open its doors in the Scottish Borders this month.

Located on the Gala Water Retail Park, next to M&S and nearby to Tesco, the brand new gym will be open 24/7 from 12pm on Friday February 10.

The gym aims to provide around seven new jobs in the thriving fitness sector and bring increased footfall to the retail park.

PureGym say that they are always on the lookout for people who want to turn their passion for fitness into a career through the company’s Personal Training Academy.

Not only does the programme equip candidates to become a certified Personal Trainer in just 14 weeks.

It guarantees a job at the end (subject to successful interview) after graduating and provides ongoing PT business support and opportunities for career progression into management roles.
