STOBO Castle’s kind, helpful and super-efficient Head Receptionist Heather Young has been crowned Stobo’s Employee of the Year 2022.
At the heart of any good business is its employees and Stobo have a fantastic team of incredibly hard-working individuals who consistently go the extra mile, however it was Heather’s dedication and enthusiasm that shone through on this occasion.

Managing Director Elliot Winyard highlighted Heather’s “willingness to upskill, multi-task and assist other departments at the drop of a hat, all the time demonstrating impeccably high standards” in his congratulations speech.
He added: “These are just a few examples of Heather’s commitment to the business and reasons why she is an absolute pleasure to have in the company”.
“Heather has become a familiar and friendly face to the many regular guests at the castle during her six years of employment and she thoroughly deserves this recognition.”

Heather who comes from Innerleithen was joined by two other stand out members of the team who received a special mention for being all-round superstars, Deputy Housekeeper Chloe Smith and Spa Receptionist Audrey Ewan who are both from Peebles.
