A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash between a van and a car on the A7 yesterday afternoon (Wednesday May 10).
The crash took place around 4pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene on a long straight south of Stow, with traffic being stopped at the Bowland junction.
The busy road was closed to facilitate an investigation into the circumstances and recovery of the vehicles but has since reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: Police were called around 4pm on Wednesday, 10 May, 2023 to a report of a road crash involving a van and a car on the A7 Galashiels to Stow road.
“Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital. Both vehicles have been recovered and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
