A CAR boot sale organised by the Innerleithen, Walkerburn & Traquair Rotary Club and the Co-op supermarket has raised more than £500 for a very worthy cause.

The event took place at the Innerleithen Co-op Car Park on Sunday May 14 and the £525 raised went to Cycling without Age Innerleithen, a local volunteer group offering trishaw rides on the Cleikum Belle for people with reduced mobility.

The cheque presentation was made to regular passengers Mary and Ronnie, residents of St Ronan's Care Home with representatives of the Rotary club, Denis Robson, the Coop’s Jamie Green and the Trishaw, Murray Charters present.
