A POST mortem has confirmed that a dog caused injuries to animals in a sheep worrying incident last month.
Scottish Borders Police have launched a witness appeal for those who saw anything or have information about a sheep worrying incident which happened at Sharplaw Farm in Jedburgh.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Between 8pm on Sunday, 30 April 2023 and 11am on Monday, 1 May 2023, nine pedigree Charollais lambs were attacked on Sharplaw Farm, Jedburgh.
"A recent post-mortem has confirmed that a dog caused these injuries.
"We ask witnesses or anyone with information regarding this incident to contact us on 101, quoting incident 1661 of Monday, 1 May 2023."
