CONCERNS for a missing 86-year-old Borders man “continue to grow”.
James, or Jim, Cockburn, who lives in the Town Yetholm area, was last seen at around 9.30am on Thursday (June 29).
He is described as 6ft, with a muscular build and broad shoulders.
He has grey, thinning hair and is clean shaven, according to police.
It is believed he has travelled using his red Ford Fiesta, registration ET18 XFO.
Inspector Rachel Campbell, from Melrose Police Station, said: “As time continues to pass since James was last seen, concerns for his welfare continue to grow.
“We are asking anyone who may have seen him or his car, or who has any information on his whereabouts, to please call police on 101, quoting incident number 3837 of June, 29, 2023.”
