MUSIC lovers are in for a treat at the Eastgate Theatre with performances by three Scottish bands.
First is the visit of contemporary band Meursault tonight (Friday).
The Edinburgh indie rock band features singer-songwriter Neil Pennycook, acclaimed for having one of Scotland's most original voices.

His eight piece group will raise the roof with their new set centred on tracks from their reflective and personal sixth album 'Meursault'.
Following this, Peebles’ very own Gary Martin leads the Jensen Intercepters tomorrow (Saturday).
Tickets for the latest gig are selling fast as the blues band return to play their rich mix of original music and covers of classic tracks by performers including Slim Harpo, Little Walter, T’Bone Walker and Muddy Waters.
Gary will be on vocals, harmonica and slide guitar; with Mike Park on lead guitar; Richard O’Donnell on piano and Hammond organ; Jim Walker on drums; and Mike Katz on bass.

They will be joined by special guests Al Brown and Frank Usher on guitars.
And on Wednesday, October 25, the theatre will be filled with the sounds of Scottish traditional music, delivered by brilliant young band Assynt.
The award-winning instrumental folk trio are former BBC Radio Scotland Young Musician of the Year finalists - Graham Mackenzie (fiddle) and David Shedden (pipes/whistles) alongside BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award winner Innes White (guitar).
Inspired by the great piping, fiddle and Gaelic traditions of the Highlands of Scotland, Assynt’s self-penned melodies are acclaimed as refreshingly contemporary while remaining true to their musical roots.

The new set revolves around tracks from their second studio album 'Where From Here'.
Their Eastgate performance follows their sold out Celtic Connections performance at the start of the year.
Following their UK tour the band are off to tour in Germany, China and Australia.
