TWEEDDALE MP David Mundell this week laid a poppy cross tribute at the Garden of Remembrance in the grounds of the Palace of Westminster.
Mr Mundell was following in the footsteps of the House of Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle.
The lawns beside Parliament included tributes from all 650 UK constituencies, 56 member countries of the Commonwealth together with British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies.
