A THIRD wind turbine blade has arrived in the Scottish Borders however a planned deliver to Pines Burn Wind Farm scheduled for today Thursday November 23 has been cancelled.
This is due to the forecast of high winds.
The next scheduled movement date is Monday November 27.

Set off time is planned for 9.30am from the transition point near to St Boswells.
The route is via the A68 then the A6099 to Selkirk.
After that the abnormal load convoy will travel south on the A7 to Hawick then on to the site via the A6088.

The blade lifter can only move during daylight hours.
There are two layby’s along the route for the blades to pause for weather and traffic easing purposes. One is on the A7 and one on the A6088.

All timings will be agreed with the police to minimise disruption.
All abnormal loads will have police escort to manage traffic.
All dates are subject to Police Scotland and any blade movements are subject to weather.
A live tracker will be in operation and a link will be provided when it sets off.
