A LARGE glass pane at the front of the tapestry centre in Galashiels has been shattered, according to police.
The incident is believed to have happened between 5pm on Tuesday (November 21) and 8am the following day.
Around £2,000 worth of damage has been caused, say officers.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the vandalism to contact them on 101, quoting incident 782 of November 22, 2023.
The centre opened in August 2021.
It is the permanent home of the Great Tapestry of Scotland.
