A YELLOW weather warning for snow and ice affecting parts of the Scottish Borders has been issued by the MET Office.

The warning comes into effect at 5pm tonight Tuesday November 28 and runs through to 11am tomorrow Wednesday November 29.

The east side of the region is affected,

 

 

A MET Office spokesperson said: “Icy patches and snow are possible and may lead to hazardous conditions Tuesday evening and overnight into Wednesday morning.”

Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths

Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
