FRIDAY’S planned delivery of a wind turbine blade to Pines Burn Wind Farm was halted at the A7 roundabout just south of Selkirk due to adverse weather conditions.
The blade remained at the layby over the weekend.
The next delivery is scheduled for today Monday December 11.

Weather permitting the abnormal load convoy will set off at the earlier than normal time of 9am.

It will travel southwards on the A7 to Hawick then onto the site which is located approximately 6km Southwest of Bonchester Bridge and 8km South of Hawick.

A tracker will be in operation to allow the public to establish where the convoy is.
Drivers using the A7 during the relevant time can expect some delays.
