A ‘PUNK’ pizza takeaway bid looks to be off the menu in Peebles after its application was withdrawn.
Tweeddale Youth Action had submitted a planning application to Scottish Borders Council (SBC) to use the Central Baguette premises in the High Street to sell artisan pizzas during the day, as well as early evening during the summer months.
This project extends Tweeddale Youth Action’s existing Food Punks project, supporting young people’s employability through hospitality and catering training.
But the application was formally withdrawn on January 4, with no reason for the decision stated on SBC’s planning portal.
