GREEN issues will be top of the agenda when a climate conference is staged in the Borders next week.

The Scottish Borders Climate Action Network is hosting The Green Summit on Thursday, March 14 from 10am at Tweed Horizons at Newtown St Boswells.

There will be a diverse range of engaging sessions, workshops and networking opportunities lined up.

The summit is aiming to increase the awareness of green projects across the Borders whilst also creating opportunities for professionals to meet and work together.

A spokesperson said: "Whether you are an environmental enthusiast, a professional seeking inspiration, or curious about sustainable living and what steps we can take in everyday life to contribute to climate action, The Green Summit offers a unique chance to connect with others who share your passion."
