A 29-YEAR-OLD has been ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work at Selkirk Sheriff Court as an alternative to custody.
Corey Turner admitted assaulting a neighbour to his injury by butting him and punching him to the head in Forest Crescent, Galashiels, on January 13.
The court heard Turner “overreacted” to a “trivial comment” made by his neighbour.
