The OVO Hydro in Glasgow is one the biggest music venues in Scotland with over a million visits being paid here every year.

However, as is the case in much of the city, finding a parking space can be tricky and, in some cases, costly.

If you're looking to go to a concert at the Hydro and want a safe place to leave your motor, here are a few options.

Where can I park my car at the OVO Hydro?

The OVO Hydro is conveniently situated just off the M8 motorway and has plenty of parking available nearby.

Multi-storey parking is operated by Glasgow City Council with some 1600 spaces available here.

This is open 24 hours a day with prices ranging from £6 (up to an hour) to £24 (12 to 24 hours).

It should be noted that there is a height restriction of two metres for this facility, according to Glasgow City Council.

Those cycling to the venue can also leave their bikes at two designated sheds located to the south and west of the centre.

Is there a drop-off and pick-up zone at the Hydro?

The drop-off and pick-up zone at the OVO Hydro is accessible via Stobcross Road and is free.

Stays of up to 30 minutes are allowed by drivers picking up friends and family.
