A PEEBLESSHIRE photographer is holding an exhibition in aid of the Stroke Association.
Graham Riddell, of Innerleithen, will host the exhibition titled 'People of The Valley' at Findra Clothing in the town next month.
Graham's sister, Dianne, suffered a stroke in 2022 which left her unable to swallow or move.
However, after after two years of recovery in Glasgow and Forth Valley, Dianne has made a good recovery and celebrated her 70th birthday last year.
Graham said: “Stroke awareness is vital. It is more common than you think, and the effects can be devastating.
"The support Dianne received in hospital was incredible, but coming home was when the real fight began.
"She is more independent than ever and going back to driving has really helped.
“I want other people affected by stroke to receive the support they need, and that is why I am raising funds for the Stroke Association."
Andrea Watt, relationship fundraiser for the Stroke Association in Scotland said: “We’re thrilled Graham has decided to donate funds from the exhibition to the charity.
"Funds raised will go towards helping prevent stroke, and support others living with the effects of stroke."
Graham's exhibition will include a series of portraits of people and their stories from around the Tweed Valley.
He added: “I’d like to extend a special thanks to Alex Feechan, Fashion Designer, Founder and CEO of Findra Clothing, who is always willing to support me with my photography, and the arts more generally.
"Please come along to see the exhibition, and view some of the exhibits.
"We’ll be happy to see you.”
“People of The Valley” Photography Exhibition, will take place from Saturday, May 4 until Saturday, May 31 at Findra Clothing in Innerleithen.
