A prowler was reported as on the loose and targeting property in Largs, during a recent community meeting.
Largs Police provide a monthly update of crime incidents in the area, with this particular incident happening in Lindsay Crescent.
The incident took place on March 17, and concerned a person within the grounds of the home where 'it may reasonably be inferred that they intended to commit theft' and 'without lawful authority', according to the police report.
On March 25, police did report a theft by house break-in within Newhaven Grove in the town. Their report did not specify the items which were taken.
