FAMILIES in Largs are being invited to join in a weekend of spring celebrations at Kelburn Castle and Estate - including the chance to be a king and queen for the day.
The estate team is running a Spring Maypole Party over the three days of the May Day holiday weekend, from Saturday, May 4 until Monday, May 6.
The fun and games include a maypole dance every hour from 12 noon until 3pm on each day, as well as a secret forest quiz and the chance to craft your own May crown from natural materials.
Two crown makers will be chosen at 3.30pm each day to be the May King and Queen, and photos of the winners will be shared on social media to help family members and friends spread the magical moment.
The cafe, play barn and toy shop will also be open at Kelburn Country Centre during your visit.
