A NIGHT-TIME home curfew has been imposed on a 28-year-old Galashiels man who admitted spitting on a police officer.
Jonathan Barnes also pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by uttering threats at officers during the incident at Hawick Police Station on January 25, 2022.
The Restriction of Liberty Order sentence at Jedburgh Sheriff Court means he must stay in his Kenilworth Avenue home between the hours of 10pm and 8am for the next nine months.
