BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Kelso man who admitted kicking a police officer on the body.
Thirty-seven-year-old Brian Chilcott, of Brisbane Place, pleaded to assaulting the constable to his injury on April 7 last year.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until July 15.
