A WALKERBURN man accused of stabbing another male to the danger of his life has walked free from Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Twenty-nine-year-old Grant Morton was found not guilty of the assault following a jury trial on Tuesday.
He had been accused of causing severe injury and permanent impairment to his alleged victim following an incident near Morton’s home in Tweedholm Avenue East on December 21 last year.
