BIGGAR have double cause to celebrate this week as they have been awarded both club of the month by the SRU as well as try of the month.
The Tennent's Club of the Month for January comes on the back of the first team's results which saw them unbeaten.
As well as the League Two leaders impressing, the club's Under 16s reaching the final of the Scottish Cup and the Girls continued to record excellent results in National competitions.
The award is also based on criteria including number of teams fielded, club development and on-field discipline.
The prize includes a selection of Tennent’s products and a table at the end-of-season awards night when the club will go into the hat alongside all the other Club of the Month winners for a chance to become Club of the Year.
To add to the celebrations January Try of the Month went to Biggar winger Ross Bradford for his score against Glasgow Accies.
This award will also pitch him against all other Try of the Month winners for Try of the Season.
