SEVEN riders from Tweeddale Rideability Group took part in the virtual RDA Regional Dressage Competition this summer, with three members also taking part in the arts and crafts classes.
Of the seven riders Helen Rodger, Nathan Linton, Hannah Archibald and Niamh Carters all won in their dressage classes, scoring more than 60 per cent which means they have qualified for the RDA National Championship.
Fellow riders Joe McKinney, Iona Tinlin and Ellie Hill also had great success as they all placed second in their classes.
In the arts and crafts competition Seth Sanders' painting of Tweeddale Rideability Group pony Gus won the Painting and Drawing Class.
Ellie Hill's photograph of a 'muddy pony' saw her win in the Photography Class. Both will be entered into the national championships.
A spokesperson from the Tweeddale Rideability Group said: "To have this many qualifiers for the National Championships in the dressage and Arts & Crafts is fantastic and much credit goes to our dedicated team of volunteers who keep the horses fit and healthy throughout the year."
